Your Worst Nightmare

Posted in Uncategorized on December 31, 2011 by Dark Angel

Threats against me are funny because the person who says it to me thinks I will back off or even care what they are saying. The one thing people need to realize, i can care less what people threaten me, say they are gonna punch me or blah blah blah. I am someone who will just give you a sarcastic “yeah… ok… yeah… sure” answers when you say what you want to do to me. I also will never believe you when you say you are better or stronger than me or can kick my ass because 9 out of 10 times, you are not nor can’t.

If someone does actually swing at me, they better make sure they knock my ass out. Not only if I happen to get knocked down, I don’t know how to stay down. Also, I will fight back and find any weakness you may have and if I can’t, back of the knees are always a good start.

I might be an opinionated, sarcastic asshole…. but i can still be one of the nicest people you can meet. Threaten me, I turn into your worst nightmare.

Rest in Peace Tech Man

Posted in Uncategorized on October 6, 2011 by Dark Angel

Yesterday, co-founder of one of the largest technology companies died, Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple, Inc. He helped revolutionize the current technological world with Apple and their computers, then helped the digital music world with the ipod and it’s many advances and then with it top peak of a machine in the iphone. Now granted, the ipod isn’t the only mp3 player out there, the macbook isn’t the only notebook out there (and the other ones have Adobe Flash) and the iphone isn’t the only cell phone (and isn’t even the #1 cell either) and of course, their overpriced tablet, ipad and ipad 2, but what got then to where they are, where Jobs wanted them to be are two things, easy to use and marketing. All the Apple products are easy to use, a grandmother can program one of their toys. However, it is Jobs and Apple’s marketing department who needs the applaudes for their true success. Steve Jobs knew what we wanted to hear and we basically bought into it. Hell, I even used to own an ipod till I got a Blackberry and could use it for my music.

I am sorry to see Steve Jobs go and have a feeling Apple will go along with it…….. unless they get Adobe Flash…. then they will actually compete.

Rest in Peace Steve Jobs. Thanks for playing the game of life and giving us lots of toys to play with.

A wonderful and beautiful soul wrote this

Every so often I will read poems and other articles about openness and in a group I am in on Facebook called Freak Rights Now, the group owner,  TheGoddess Lilit Blue, wrote the following:
To all you beautiful freaks:

Don’t let the bastards get you down. You are all geniuses with big hearts — who have glimpsed the horror of reality and had to deal with the madness of viewing it unshrouded.

Your insanity is actually wisdom. For you still live.

You’ve inspired, tonight, my Manifesto─my words to you, all my friends, we fucked-over non-group of individuals hurt by the world’s rules and so loving, caring, amazing, brilliant, innovative, and persecuted for nothing more than being not one of the sheep crowd. Me. Fuck that shit! We are awesome. And we have the key to the future. We have already opened the door. Let us meet beyond it and celebrate. For are we not Viking Pirate Rebel IT Dirty Girls and Those Who Confuse Category Nazis? SKAAL!!!!!!!

Those of us who see that the world “as it is,” with the rules imposed by patriarchical, outdated good old boys clubs that are big business, governments, mainstream american media, christianity (the murderer disguised as the savior) — all of us, we have been labelled mad. Oh, and scientists, thinkers, weirdos, queers, freaks, and other happy people who don’t conform. We have been labelled evil by the evil that wraps itself in a flag and waves a bible to distract us from the pilotless drone bombers killing women and children as collatoral damage─but as long as its in the quest to eradicate the islam anti-christian danger to our homeland security, it’s ok when we kill more children and american army reserve innocent boys who just wanted to go to college. Yes, GWB, here’s our civil rights. Take them all and more if it means we’ll win against those terrible terrorist heathen Islamists with their WMDs. Huh, what, European press? Saddam DIDN’T have WMDs? Doesn’t matter. We blew the bad guy away! We are winning! GO USA!!

Women are connecting. Freaks, queers, goddesses, slaves, roboticists, and everybody who sees the hypocrisy of the Authority. The rules are set by arrogant man. Mother Gaia has her own rules. You can feel them in your heart, your bones, your ecstasy with your lovers (no matter girl, boy, kinky, dragon, mercurial spirit, or other), the wind, sun and rain on unpaved hills overlooking the untamed wild ocean. Tiamat. Kali. Lilit. You have been told we are dangerous monsters, unstoppably seductive harlot women wise in that beyond rules and classical geometry. We are the fractal. Your minds, music, your open eyes and science and maverick thinkers, dreamers and tech lovers, you wild dancing women loving each other, you men and women making love and pleasure without the marriage bed, ownership and power games, who get up in the morning together, check your email, smile in friendship, each part ways and see each other at your party on the weekend held by you and your wife. And it’s no big deal.

Fuck the rules. Who made them? Pay more attention to the tides and the weather. Lay down in the sun on the growing spring earth hills that surround the pitiful fortresses of cities. For She and It and the non-man-made is more wise and mathematically harmonious than anything our minds have borne and codified into laws. The pattern of what is is far better than what the Authority of Man has ruled is real and therefore ruled as truth that their priestly lawyerly police nazi elite only can know and therefore must be laws that cannot be disobeyed.

Our tribe is reaching out and connecting. We find each other online and in secret transgressional places like Death Guild and Power Exchange and our homes. We are Anonymous. We are men. We are women. We are something not female or male. Your deepest prejudices and categories don’t capture us. But we choose what category to show you, because you will believe you have defined and thus controlled and neutralized us.

But we are legion. We are the network. We evolve. We are Nature. We are the Goddess who you have stamped out and destroyed with your fear and your rules. We are the power of reality, sex, death, love, passion, science, the higher and serpent brains, and the desperate fight to survive that will overtake you all. We freak you out and your hate and fear make us invisible, all in black or V-masks or anonymous. You think your face recognition software can nail us. We will use the tech we’ve created–the fire that launched our early survival as a small tribe of equal men and women─metal, sharp knives that both men and women know how to use, love and vulnerability of both men and women because only by braving pain can we win the true life, which is reality in all its horror and glory but is also being held in the loving web of your tribe, not alone, at last.

Let us clasp hands across the anonymous abyss of the network, and let us vow together to fuck the rules. Our web has been built invisibly. But now it has been activated. Reach out and connect to it. It is live. The circuits have been completed─we are go, all electricity at max. It cannot be killed now that it has gone live, viral, across all our human tech connections. You are part of it. The rules and the nazis and the enforcers and all their weapons can’t kill that web now, for it has been sparked into life. And life will trump rules and status quo, for remaining the same equals death. We are all the unforeseen variable, the forest that is now covering mount st. helens, the new species of glowing mushrooms found surviving solely on the radiation locked sealed in the chernobyl reactor towers barricaded behind our best defenses.

We are the world, evolving, imperfect, and free. Your rules, O Bureaucratic Evil Salesmen Pat Roberts George Bush, don’t keep us away. They just give us the key to beating you. Because, you see, you have to play by your own rules. We don’t. Our rules are love, friendship, compassion, right action and common sense. Try to beat us in this game. You’ll just be sport─a mouse to toy with. We are everywhere and nowhere. Your fears of us, and your fears of yourselves, will lead you to kill each other in the city streets over a crust of bread.

And we will be singing to each other. dark and light and playing with binary and the power of digital as a tool, in an analog world, while you die astonished that death exists. And we will be making love, feeding each other with food, words, ideas, wine and love. O my tribe, let us join hands now. For we love one another. We are all children of this Universe. Across the network, we are all home.

A missed but still loved child

Posted in Uncategorized on May 28, 2011 by Dark Angel

Memorial Day means a lot to different people around the nation. For me, there isn’t a soldier to salute at a grave or on the street. It is a grave of a someone who was taken before she should have. My cousin Alyshia Rae, who meant the world to me, died at the youthful age of 6 by a tragic accident out in the lake in Lake Hopacong, NJ.

Alyshia Rae was a one of a kind child. She always had a smile on her face, never really got into trouble, and always seemed to want to help anyone that she could.

She is missed by me and the rest of the family and will always be remembered by everyone’s heart that she touched.

Emotional Assumptions

Posted in Uncategorized on March 29, 2011 by Dark Angel

Have you ever had someone get mad at you for the wrong reason? I am sure you have. It is a constant occurrence in life. One will mistake something for another because of an assumption. The reasoning behind this is usually because someone said something and when the other person either gets mad or shows an emotion other than the one they are looking for; they will normally think that you are reacting to what they just said. Sometimes it actually is but a lot of times where it is the context as to how it was said. When someone says something to someone, they don’t realize that how they word something can come off as completely asinine or completely a way they did not mean. I won’t lie, I am the same way. The thing is, until you approach the person, they will keep saying things in that same tone or way that pissed you off or made you upset/depressed and it becomes a vicious circle.

Now if you are someone, like me, who needs a bit to cool off, no matter how mad, pissed off or barely upset you are, make sure you it doesn’t take you long to talk to the person. By letting it fester can in the long run create more problems, which could eventually make for a very bad situation, which you always want to try and avoid. I will admit that I am not the best at this. This is why I am writing this, so others won’t make the same mistakes that I make. I am someone who needs to cool my head no matter what because if I talk about it right away, it will turn out extremely bad but this is because I have anger issues that I have learned that if I walk away first and talk about it after I calm down, the talk goes much smoother.

Do I suggest doing that, no. I suggest finding a happy medium that fits for you. If blowing off steam works, then do it, if you don’t need to and can settle the problem right away, then do that. As long as you do it, that is the main key.

Hate

Posted in Random rant on January 23, 2011 by Dark Angel

What is it that bothers most of the world about people who are different? Is it that fact that they are not up to society’s norm by the whole one man/one woman factor? Is it a religious factor? What is it that has someone or a group of people poke fun at, discriminate and generally hate people who are different. I am not just talking about people in the LGBT community but anyone who desires to be different. It could be body modification such as having a tattoo or a piercing. It could be that a person is in an open relationship with 2 or more people. If they are different, there are those who hate them.

Living here in the south, I am always told that people down here will not accept someone like me, a bisexual Male to Female CD who just happens to be Pagan. The governor of Alabama even showed his hate during his inaugural speech by saying “… anybody here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I’m telling you, you’re not my brother and you’re not my sister, and I want to be your brother.” He did this at the King Memorial Church on Dr. King’s holiday observance. Good thing I don’t want to be his brother (or sister… depending who I am that day hehe).

Another thing is that Paganism is not a recognized religion (do not confuse Wicca and Paganism as Wicca is a recognized religion, it is similar to Paganism but has its differences). Scientology is a recognized religion and yet it is probably one of the most absurd religions out there, yet Paganism, which is a peaceful religion, is not. This is something that has been plaguing my mind for years now.

In Ohio, their Governor has resigned LGB discrimination laws but left transgender individuals out of the equation. The law used to include gender identity and expression and the new governor did say he would include them but decided last minute not to but has yet to say why. Originally he did not sign it. Should be interesting to see why he left out Transgender people.

You have the hate crimes that happened in the Fall in NYC to a handful of gay people. One from a gang, one from some idiot who for some reason was in a gay bar himself and many others have been attacked as well. Of course, let’s not forget about the infamous Prop 8 in California, preventing same sex partners to marry.

Years ago, you had the civil rights movement for African American people and fought to get the rights they now have but even they still are subject to prejudice. Parts of the south still have those who will chase down someone for being African American and beat them to a bloody pulp, hang them or in a not too long ago case, drag them by a moving vehicle.

Hell, you are looked as evil or as a deviant for dressing differently. If you wear latex, fishnet shirts, corsets, or just a male who happens to wear nail polish and/or eyeliner, you are potentially looks as a freak and as some might put “what is wrong with the world today”.

So I ask, why do people hate others that are different? In the long run, aren’t we all human? Do we not bleed if stabbed?  There is nothing wrong with being different. If everyone was the same, you wouldn’t have such creative paintings, music would all sound the same (and probably boring), sports would be lame as everyone would have the same talent and everyone would know the same routine and nothing would truly get accomplished.

I say that being different truly makes the world go round and being the same and mediocre is what the true problem is.

Black Friday Danger

Posted in Uncategorized on November 25, 2010 by Dark Angel

Black Friday

Black Friday is one of the most dangerous days of the year. Now I know statistics say that other days or even holidays are more dangerous. I am not talking physical harm, though you can get harmed shopping on Black Friday, ever dealt with a Black Friday crowd? I am talking about the cyber danger. Over the years, especially after 9/11, more and more people have been shopping online on Black Friday and stores with online stores have been putting sales on their sites. Days like this are a hacker’s wet dream. Granted, over the years, more and more companies have been making sure that their sites are protected from hackers and try to protect your information that you are sending over the web. There are easy ways to tell if a site is protected.

  1. If the site is protected, you should see a small padlock on the bottom of the screen
  2. On top where you type in the URL (company web address), you see it says HTTP, if the site is truly secured, it should say HTTPS.

Now it is important to look for these things because that means hackers cannot bug the site. With more and more internet security that companies hire, it became more and more difficult. Plus, these companies usually hire hackers to protect their own sites (don’t worry, these hackers are usually retired from the game).

There are other things to watch for, such as:

  1. 1.Blindly Clicking Into Unfamiliar Sites
  2. Assuming You Have the Same Protections With Debit as Credit
  3. Not Monitoring Your Accounts
  4. Shopping From a Public Wi-Fi Connection
  5. Billing Directly to Your Smart Phone
  6. Wiring Money to Pay For an Item
  7. Falling For Too-Good-to-Be-True Deals
  8. Clicking a Link in an Unsolicited E-Mail
  9. Clicking URLs on Social-Networking Sites
  10. Assuming an Escrow Service Is Always Safe

These are more of the hacker’s wet dream ways to get your money and information. People tend not to watch their money closely and wait a while before they truly add things up to see how much they spend. This is what hackers are waiting for, your false sense of security. Lose that, you can lose more than just your mind!

The best way to make sure your information is not stolen is always go to the stores and deal with the mob of shoppers. The worse you will get is a black eye!

DADT: Worth it or a Joke?

Posted in LGBT, Political on November 23, 2010 by Dark Angel

This is something I never understood, why gay people cannot be open about who they are while serving in the military. Is it that the military is afraid that gay people are going to throw pillows or shoot sprinkles at the enemy? Do they think that they are going to replace their guns for water pistols? Give me a break. Everyone gets the same basic training, whether you are gay, straight or bisexual. Who you decide to lay with should not be an issue in the military or anywhere else for that matter.

For those who are not up to speed with current affairs, DADT (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell) restricts the efforts of the United States Military for trying to discover who is gay(Don’t Ask), lesbian or bisexual but no one can serve openly as well (Don’t Tell). However, there is more to the Don’t Ask part of the law. If the military feels there should be an investigation, they can open one. Doesn’t seem fair now does it.

There are those who argue that this is to help gays in the military from being beaten by those who do not care for gay people. Thing is, everyone is supposed to be protected equally from being beaten, whether you are straight, gay, lesbian or bisexual. Aren’t things like that taught in basic training, to trust and respect your unit? So if this was true, then no one should be beating anyone up. Yes, I know it happens, there are those who are the weakest link of the unit and the rest of them are just trying to toughen that soldier up. Though those are things that should be stopped anyways since it isn’t the unit’s job to toughen one soldier up, it is the commanding officer’s job. Now, if he is the one beating on the soldier, then it should be questioned whether he is fighting for us or them. Picking on a fellow military soldier, no matter what your rank is, should be considered an act of treason.

I have a hypothetical scenario. Say the draft was still in effect, where the government could in fact make people enlist for war. Back in the old days, people would dodge the draft by going to Canada. Tons of people were able to do this. Today, what if people were to just say they were openly gay. Would they turn away tons of people? By law, they would have to as part of the Don’t Tell section.

Too bad the draft is illegal now and we will never see if this would happen or what the outcome truly would be. It would be interesting.

In closing, the Don’t Ask, Don’t tell policy, which was signed by President Bill Clinton, is something of the past and should be looked upon as something that was thought to be helpful but since gays, lesbians and bisexuals are saying thanks but no thanks, then it should be pushed away.

Full Body Scan v the Enhanced Pat Down

Posted in Random rant on November 18, 2010 by Dark Angel

This is the current supposed dilemma that travelers are facing. Either get a full body scan or get a very evasive pat down by security. There are people out there who are urging people to take the Pat down over the Full Body Scan over some recent controversy that has risen that the scans are able to be saved, after the TSA claimed that they can’t be saved. Another controversy is over a airline worker who forgot his badge, was forced to go through the Full Body Scan and the security workers laughed at the size of his penis. He was very ashamed and embarrassed, so much that he left work about it.

Here are some facts about the Full Body Scan:

  • TSA Personnel can choose up to 5 different scans to view
  • The machine can potentially give off radiation but more than likely nothing to truly harm you
  • Even though your picture is of you naked, your face is blurred. TSA Personnel working the machine will only know who is who.

Now, if you choose to refuse the Full Body Scan (and you do have that right), you can choose to get the Enhanced Pat Down. Now, the usual pat down, which is something you would get at a concert, is not this. This enhanced version is very evasive. You are going to feel as if you are being violated. Just recently, TSA announced, after getting a TON of complaints from parents, that the pat down will be less evasive toward children. For women, the security officer will pat you down like normal, then take their hand between your breasts, slide it under each one of your breasts and keep going down… you get the idea. Men will get a similar treatment down in their lower area. Sound fun?

So which should you choose (because you have to choose, otherwise you are not getting on the airplane)? Personally, I could care less if they see a naked x-ray of me. It takes less time to go through the Full Body Scan than getting patted down. If it gets me to the plane faster, then so be it….. unless I am in the mood to get groped.
